CareersMMXXVICareers: when the door opensCoimbra Porto Lisboa
Careers Edition №4

Not yet.
But soon, and done right.

HoraCerta is, today, one person. By choice. When the time to grow comes, it'll happen slowly, calmly, with the right people. And this is where we tell you before we put it on LinkedIn.

Philosophy

What we look for
and what we don't.

What we look for

Practical curiosity.

  • ↳ People who get that code is a means, not the end.
  • ↳ People who talk to customers directly, no “not my department”.
  • ↳ People who'd rather finish one small thing well than start four big ones.
  • ↳ People who write Portuguese-of-Portugal and know the difference between “telemóvel” and “móvel”.
  • ↳ People comfortable saying “I don't know” when they don't.
What we don't

What there's already too much of.

  • ↳ “Ninja”, “guru”, “rockstar”. None of those will appear in the job posting.
  • ↳ People who treat customers like Jira tickets.
  • ↳ People who prefer more tooling to more user conversations.
  • ↳ People who need a meeting to decide what to do for the next hour.
  • ↳ People who've only heard of Portugal on holiday.
When

The honest plan
for team growth.

Today

One person.

Mauro coding, talking to customers, answering support, writing the site. No openings.

50+ partners

+1 support / success person.

Beyond ~50 daily salons, one person can't answer everything. First hire will be for support, not sales.

150+ partners

+1 engineer.

When the product needs to evolve faster than one person can ship. Not before.

500+

Think small company.

More formal roles, physical office in Coimbra. Still, the goal is to never exceed 12 people.
